How about an IDEA plugin?

The last time I looked at OpenAPI, it was not up to this task, but that was in IDEA 3.0

I'm not sure if 4.0 provides browser support ( key feature in TT ).

Another big advantage of using Eclipse is the same code can be (and will be ) released as a standalone application based on the Eclipse Rich Client Platform

How about a standalone application ?

It's on it's way.

It will be based on the Eclipse Rich Client Platform.

Why is there no support for Mac OSX in beta 1.0?

SWT support for the browser widget on OSX is not out yet

currently supported platfroms :

  • Windows (Internet Explorer 5 or above)
  • Linux GTK and Linux Motif (both using Mozilla 1.4 GTK2 - or above 1.4)

The following Linux distributions meet the Mozilla requirements for using the Browser widget:
    • RedHat Enterprise Linux 3
    • Suse 9
  • Other Linux distributions require a supported version of Mozilla to be installed. See instructions Photon

As soon as SWT OSX support is in place, TiimTam will work on the Mac.
